This document outlines the tuition rates for language classes at Fu Jen Catholic University Language Center from September 2015 to August 2016. It provides the tuition costs for quarterly and summer session classes in New Taiwan Dollars. Quarterly classes are 12 weeks long while summer sessions are either 4 or 3 weeks. Tuition ranges from NT$9,900 for a 4-week summer session to NT$28,000 for a 12-week quarterly class, depending on class size and individual/group format. Additional fees such as registration and textbooks are also listed.

◎ Tuition fees include:
1. Registration fee: NT$500. Charged only once at the beginning of the student’s first quarter.
2. Administrative fee (Group Accident Insurance included):
(1) Quarters: NT$500/per quarter.
(2) Summer Sessions: NT$400/per session, or NT$450 for two continuous sessions.

1. Speech Lab. Fee (one time fee for absolute beginners for accurate pronunciation drills at the
beginning of the quarter): NT$ 958
2. Textbook fees :approx. NT$1200 for one quarter

◎ Notes:
1. Classes are organized into three levels of proficiency: Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced. The class
arrangement depends on the placement result. A group class can only be arranged if there are enough students
requesting for either a small (2-3 students) or a large (4-7 students) group class. The LC cannot guarantee
that students will always get the type of class they prefer.
2. Students have to take 12-hour required classes and 3-hour optional classes (e.g. Pronunciation, Conversation,
TOCFL, Chinese Writing, Business Chinese, Calligraphy and Shadow boxing, Judo, etc.) per week (total 15
hours per week).
Remarks:
1. Tuition Rates are quoted in NT Dollars and subject to change without notice.
2. The LC is not obligated to arrange make up classes or make refunds for classes cancelled due to natural
disasters (e.g., typhoons, earthquake, fire, etc) or other unforeseen and unavoidable events (e.g., power
failure, etc.).
