praised by Committee of Inquiry (COI)
for his display of bravery at the Little
India Riots on 8 Dec last year!
❖ At the scene, he was pelted with glass
bottles and other projectiles!
❖ He realised he needed to take the
initiative to enforce law and order!
❖ Instinctively, he charged at them with
his baton to show that he was still in
charge!

water!
❖ The dry spell has depleted
reservoirs in certain parts of

(considered critical)!
❖ A campaign has been started
urging people not to waste water

❖ As you know, Singapore is
experiencing its longest period of dry
weather!
❖ Singapore has currently managed to

variety of sources, like Newater and
desalination!

access to water!
❖ Without water, plants cannot
photosynthesise (make their own
food) and cannot support themselves!
❖ Did you know that overwatering
plants can also cause them stress?!
