Missouri Valley Football Announces 2013 All-Conference Squad
QB Brock Jensen of North Dakota State; LB Tyler Starr of South Dakota; and coach Craig Bohl of North Dakota State highlight
the 2013 Missouri Valley Football Conference all-league units.
Jensen, the all-time FCS record holder with 44 career victories, set an NDSU record with 26 TD passes this season while
leading the Bison to the overall No. 1 seed in the NCAA Division I Football Championship and perfect 11-0 regular-season re-
cord. He's the first North Dakota State player to earn the league's Offensive Player of the Year honor.
Starr headlines the defense as the league's Defensive Player of the Year. The senior from South Dakota is the nation’s active
career leader in forced fumbles (13), and he also ranks second in solo tackles for loss (39) and fourth in total sacks (27.0). He's
the first Coyote to be honored with an MVFC specialty award (USD joined the league in 2012.)
Meanwhile, Bohl has led NDSU to back-to-back FCS national championships and three straight Missouri Valley titles as NDSU
has set a league record with 20-straight wins. He's earned the league's top coaching honors three-straight seasons. The team
was voted on by league coaches, sports information directors and a media panel.
