They are depicted as aggressive, abusive, and ruthless, drawing on stereotypes of males and black males as attackers. While most attacks are stereotyped as by older men, this film challenges that by having teenage boys as the attackers. The female character is represented as weak and helpless, dressing in stereotypically feminine school uniforms and outfits like skirts and heels that emphasize her appearance.

1. 2. How does your media product represent particular social groups?<br />The male characters are dressed in big jackets, a hat and a hood. This is a common stereotype of what teenage boys look like. It also supports the stereotype that anyone wearing a hood or hat is trouble. Whilst attacking the girl they are represented as being aggressive, abusive and ruthless which are characteristics often associated with being a male and perhaps a representation of them being black males. A common stereotype associated with attacks and rapes is that they are committed by older men. This stereotype has been challenged in our film as it was done by two teenage boys. <br />The female character is represented as being weak and helpless. They way the character dresses is very feminine, in both the school uniform and the other outfit. In the uniform she wears a skirt and patterned tights and then changes into skinny jeans and heels. When spraying on perfume and fixing her hair she is represented as being a typical woman that spends time on their appearance. <br />
