It had just 69,000 original miles and required cleaning, refinishing of chrome and vinyl top, and replacement of some seat parts. The paint was preserved through a five-step restoration and new tires and fluids were installed. The goal was to preserve the original character of the car as it was built by Oldsmobile.
Central Ohio is welcoming spring in 2014. The warmer weather and blooming flowers are signs that winter is ending and a new season has begun. Residents and visitors alike will enjoy spending more time outdoors as the milder temperatures arrive.

Richard and Maureen Larger's 1942 Chrysler Town & Country was displayed at the 2005 Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance, where it received a Gold Ribbon for Most Significant Chrysler. Of the approximately 350 vehicles on display, only 18 received awards of distinction. The Larger's Chrysler Town & Country is particularly rare, as only 150 six-passenger models were produced in 1942, and it is the only known "black-out trim" model to have survived from the less than 20 remaining. The restoration was completed by the Larger family, and they expressed thanks to Don Sommer for making the presentation of their family treasure possible at the event.
J.S. "Jeff" Larger has over 30 years of experience in automotive operations management and marketing. He has a proven track record of growing businesses, including expanding one department from $0 to $17 million in sales. He is skilled in strategic planning, business development, sales, marketing, and financial management. Larger seeks a new opportunity in operations management and marketing where he can implement organizational systems and processes to develop brand awareness and drive growth.
The document contains old relic photos from World War II that have been remastered in high definition, showing various stages of aircraft manufacturing and inspection at North American Aviation and other facilities from 1942-1943, including images of B-25, P-51 Mustang, Catalina, and Stinson A-10 aircraft on assembly lines, in hangars, undergoing engine installation and other work, as well as photos of workers and pilots.
