authentic colonial Mexican towns in Baja, and
given its small size, it’s easy to see the dreamy architecture by
foot. Hop on a bike for the 3.5-mile town-to-beach trail, or
practice yoga in Tres Santos, a residential community with an
organic garden, shopping plaza, and—coming soon—Hotel San
Cristobal, opening at the end of the year.
ORANGE COUNTY: The historic Casa Laguna Hotel & Spa
in Laguna Beach has been revamped by designer
Martyn Lawrence Bullard and the team behind the
Sparrows Lodge in Palm Springs, with lush, winding

the beach. In Dana Point, the regal St. Regis
