- 1. 1-4 CAV UPDATE 02-03-12 Upcoming FRG Events During the NTC Deployment we will not have individual Troop/Company FRG meetings but will have one Squadron level FRG meeting. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 15 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be at the ACS Building, 7264 Normandy on Custer Hill. Childcare will be available on site. Space is limited so please RSVP to the FRSA at 239-1921 or linda.miller4@us.army.mil no later than Sunday, February 12th as all reservations must be turned in to CYS the morning of the 13th. Please include the names and ages of children, your name and a cell number in case of emergency during the meeting. We would like this even to be a sort of potluck. This does not have to serve as a meal but if everyone would please bring a dish or snack of some sort that would be wonderful. We will have a guest speaker giving a presenta- tion on Operational Security (OPSEC) which is very important for every- one to understand at all times and especially during a deploy- ment. Please let the FRSA or your FRG leader know if you plan to at- tend this meeting. We want to make sure the speaker has enough handouts. We will also be discussing FRG meetings during the Afghani- stan deployment and a possible Spring party. Details for Troop meetings in March will be coming soon. Monday, February 6, will be a Division Training Holiday following the Su- per Bowl. Some Rear Detachment key personnel WILL still have to work. This training holiday will be made up at some time after NTC for the rest of the Brigade. TAX CENTER INFORMATION The Fort Riley Tax Center is located in Building 7034 at the corner of Normandy and Bullard Street to prepare 2009, 2010 and 2011 federal tax returns. The tax center will also prepare state tax returns as a courtesy when completing your federal return. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged. You can make an appointment either in person or by calling 785-239-1040. Appointments will be avail- able Monday through Friday only. Saturdays are strictly walk-in days.
