The document outlines a vision for Granger Community Church (GCC) to be more active in their community by 2016. It aims to have more people actively being the church in their daily lives than occasional church attendees. It also plans to remodel the GCC campus to better serve both the congregation and wider community, and ensure all followers of Jesus are actively reproducing their faith. The vision includes building a team and strategy to support people being the church, constructing a Commons and Chapel building by summer, and opening a preschool by fall 2012.

Reboot Podcast #19 Building a House of Belonging with Tanisha Robinsonrebootio
What’s it like to find your path of authentic service in the world? What if you could use the pain of the past, a pain of not knowing where you fit in, of not knowing where you belong to propel you toward work that makes a difference? What if you could create a place of belonging? Well, it might look a lot like what Tanisha Robinson is building with Print Syndicate.
Started just 2.5 years ago with 8 people, Print Syndicate now has over 140 employees and will generate more than $20M in revenue this year. But the company isn’t just about shirts and home goods, it’s a place where people (including a black, gay, woman from a Mormon family of 7 in a small town in Missouri) have a place to self-identify and a place to belong. As Tanisha shares, running a company fueled by your passion to make the world better is both exhilarating and heartwrenching.

1. When did you first come to GCC?
Why did you come back?
2. We will BE the Church.
By 2016, the number of people being the Church in their neighborhoods, schools, cafes
and community seven days a week will outnumber the number of casual Christians just
going to church.
3. We will ACTIVATE the Campus.
By 2016, we will have remodeled the Granger campus and programs to help not just our
congregation, but the greater community with Jesus at the center.
4. We will REPRODUCE at Every Level.
By 2016, every follower of Jesus will be a reproducing follower of Jesus. And every church
will be a reproducing church.
5. What excites you about this vision?
What concerns, questions, or fears do you
have about it?
6. We are going to build a team and strategy to support you in
Being the church.
7. We are going to build the Commons and Chapel. We think we
can begin building as early as this summer.
