CONTRAINDICACIONES
No utilice ultrasonidos en los siguientes casos:
-Tromboflebitis: El ultrasonido puede causar rompimiento del émbolo
-Áreas que sufren de sepsis aguda, ya que el ultrasonido puede ampliar la infección
- Si el radio de la terapia produce efecto contrario en los tejidos; el ultrasonido no puede ser
empleado en áreas sujetas a radiaciones. Use el equipo 6 meses después de la última
aplicación radiactiva.
No se emplee en caso de tumores; el ultrasonido puede crear metástasis en las células.
- No se emplee durante el embarazo, puede causar daño fetal. Se usa ultrasonido como
herramienta de diagnóstico; que es diferente al de propósitos terapéuticos.
- No se aplique en tórax o columna a pacientes con marcapasos, ya que el generador puede
afectar, de mal modo, la funcionalidad del marcapasos.
- No utilice los ultrasonidos en el material de prótesis u osteosíntesis
- No se emplee en áreas con endo-tejido (Por ejemplo, placas introducidas en cirugías)
- No se aplique a niños menores de 15 años
- No se aplique en órganos como: ovarios, corazón, cabeza, etcétera
- No se use en caso de fiebre
Advertencia
- El equipo no es apropiado para uso invasivo
- El equipo debe utilizarse en piel sin daños
- Se aconseja que no se emplee el equipo en conjunto con otros dispositivos electrónicos,
sobre todo, los de apoyo vital
- Lea el manual, cuidadosamente, antes de usar el equipo y consérvelo con cuidado
- En caso de problemas de salud, consulte a su médico antes de usar el ultrasonido
- Revise la integridad del dispositivo antes de usarlo. Esta es una condición indispensable
para llevar a cabo el tratamiento. No utilice la unidad si ocurre algún defecto o mal
funcionamiento de los interruptores
- La unidad debe ser utilizada para los tratamientos previstos, empléese como se establece
en el manual de operaciones
- El dispositivo debe utilizarse, solamente, con los difusores incluidos y en las modalidades
terapéuticas descritas en este manual
- El usuario debe mantener el equipo alejado del alcance de los niños o personas con
problemas mentales.
- Sólo se usará este dispositivo con accesorios autorizados
- No se emplee el equipo cerca de sustancias inflamables como, mezclas anestésicas,
oxígeno, nitrato de potasio. Mantenga el equipo, cables y difusor, lejos de cualquier fuente
de calor
- No acerque el difusor alimentado a otros equipos eléctricos. El usuario no deberá
aproximarse a ningún aparato eléctrico mientras esté usando equipo ultrasónico.
-Revise si el equipo está instalado sobre un soporte estable.
En caso de dudas o perplejidad, es necesario que consulte a su médico.
Don’t use the ultrasounds in the following cases:
- Thrombophlebitis: ultrasounds could cause the breaking of embolus.
- Areas suffering from acute sepsis the ultrasound could diffuse the infection.
- The radio therapy produces a contrary effect on tissues, for this reason ultrasounds
have not to be used on areas subjected to radiations. Use ultrasounds at least 6 months
after the last application.
Don’t in case of tumours, ultrasounds can get worse your state and create metastasis.
- Don’t use ultrasounds during the pregnancy they could cause fetus damages. The
Ultrasounds used during the pregnancy as diagnostic instrument, is different from that
used for therapeutic aims.
- Patients with pacemaker should not be treated with ultrasound on thorax or column
because the generator can have bad effects on the pacemaker functionality.
- Don’t use ultrasounds on prosthesis and osteosynthesis material.
- Don’t use in areas where synthesis of endo-tissu (for example plates entered after sur-
gical operations).
- Don’t use on children under 15.
- Don’t use on organs such as ovaris, heart, head etc.
- Don’t use in case of fever.

out the treatments; don’t use the unit if some defects or bad workings of switches
should occur.
- The unit should be only used for the foreseen treatments, use itas stated in the opera
ting instructions
-The unit must be used only with the supplied diffusers and following therapeutic moda
lity described in this manual.
- The user must keep the device out of reach of children or people with mental com-
petence
- Only producer accessories must be used with this device.
- Don’t use the device near inflammables such as anaesthetics mixtures, oxygen and
nitrogen potassium. Keep the unit, the cable and diffuser far from heat sources.
- Don’t approach the diffuser when fed to any electric or electronic device. Don’t
approach yourself to electric or electronic devices while you are using the ultrasound.
- Check if the unit is placed on stable supports.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL CUIDADO
Cuidados y limpieza del equipo
- Debe remplazarse el aparato en caso de daños en su cubierta
- En caso de fallas, supuestas o reales, no efectúe ninguna reparación. Las reparaciones sólo
pueden llevarse a cabo en centros autorizados.
- No golpee, vuelque o agite el producto. Puede causar problemas o accidentes a largo
plazo, aunque no se produzcan problemas inmediatamente
- Almacene el equipo lejos de humedad y agua. Evite instalarlo en lugares húmedos, con
altas temperaturas, expuestos al polvo, a luz solar directa o emisiones electromagnéticas
altas. El dispositivo no debe estar cubierto o envuelto.
- No utilice thinner, gasolina, keroseno o químicos en polvo para limpiar el equipo o cables;
es suficiente con el uso de un paño suave, ligeramente húmedo
- Revise el funcionamiento correcto del dispositivo y de las baterías después de un periodo
largo de no emplearse el equipo. (Contacte un centro especializado)
- El dispositivo está conectado a la electricidad por medio del alimentador apropiado. Antes

Taking care and cleaning the device
- In case of damage of the covering apparatus, this has to be replaced.
- In case of real or presumed spoilt, do not make any repairs by yourself. Repairs
can be carried out only by authorized centres.
- Do not give a shock to the product by clashing, overturning or shaking. It may
cause trouble or accident in a long run although no immediate trouble occurs.
- Store the device at a place free from wet areas and water, Avoid
installing in places subject to humidity, high temperature, dust or places exposed
to direct sunbeam or near to sources of high electromagnetic emission. The device
must be used free and not wrapped or covered.
- Don’t use thinner, gasoline, kerosene, cleaning powder or chemicals; for cleaning
the machine and the cables, it is sufficient a soft lightly humid duster.
- After a long period of non-use, it is advisable to check the correct working of
the machine and of the battery. (Contact authorized centres).
- The device is connected to the electricity by means of the apposite feeder.
Before the connection check that electric system is complied with the requirements
in force in your country.
- Don’t take apart the apparatus; there are not parts repairable by the user.
- Don’t detach the labels placed on the apparatus
- Don’t wet the apparatus avoid installing it at open places subject to rain. Don’t use
the device after a possible water exposure
-Don’t remove the plug from the socket by pulling it; keep the cables out of oils and
objects with sharp edges.
- For the maintenance only use original spare parts.
- -The improper use of products and not original spare parts will induce the loss of war-
ranty.
-It is also forbidden the use of this the apparatus in the water (it is not protected against
the water seepage). Don’t use it in environment where combustible gas, inflammables,
or oxygen are present.

MANTENIMIENTO
Advertencias en torno al uso y limpieza del difusor
Evite usar solventes agresivos, alcoholes o detergentes, ya que pueden dañar la cubierta,
por otra parte, evite introducir líquidos en el aparato.
Maneje el cabezal de tratamiento con cuidado; la manipulación incorrecta puede dañar sus
características.
No anude o embobine el cable de conexión.
No use el equipo cerca de aerosoles, líquidos o solventes.
Al limpiar el dispositivo, desconecte el difusor y limpie la crema o gel usada con un paño
suave, ligeramente húmedo, o use una solución compuesta de agua al 75% y etanol
desnaturalizado al 25%
Después de la limpieza, seque bien y despeje cualquier residuo de humedad del difusor.
Modo de aplicación
El aire mitiga al ultrasonido, por esta razón es necesario colocar una cantidad generosa de
gel para ultrasonido o crema de masaje apropiada, entre el difusor y la zona a tratar.
El difusor debe estar en una posición perpendicular a la zona a tratar, y se debe deslizar
suavemente, sin presionar. A veces, se recoge la crema o gel usada con el difusor. Para
evitar que el área a tratar se sobrecaliente, se necesita manipular el difusor con movimientos
suaves, uniformes y constantes. Antes de la aplicación, limpie la piel de modo adecuado y
asegúrese que no hay rastro de detergentes o productos.
Antes de iniciar el programa, añada una cantidad abundante de gel Globus o crema anti
celulitis.
Inicie con el programa deseado y aplique el difusor en el área a tratar con movimientos
circulares y lentos; de atrás hacia adelante.
Según el programa, se pueden observar calor o vibraciones leves.
MAINTENANCE
Warnings about the use and cleaning of the diffuser
Avoid to use too much aggressive solvents, alchols or detergents, they could dama-
ge the covering, moreover avoid to introduce liquids in the apparatus
Handle with care the treatment head. A not careful manipulation can influence its
characteristics.
Don’t knot or wind the connection cable.
Don’t use the device near spray, liquids or solvents
To clean the device unconnect the diffuser and remove the cream or gel using a soft
duster lightly humid; or use a solution composed by the 75% of water and the 25% of
denatured ethanol.
After the cleaning dry well and remove any residual of humidity from the diffuser.
Application mode
The air mitigates the ultrasounds, for this reason it is necessary to place a consistent
quantity of gel for ultrasounds or a suitable cream for massages between the diffuser
and the zone to treat. The diffuser must be perpendicular the zone to treat and it
should slightly slide on it without pressing. Sometimes collect the gel or the used cream
with the diffuser. In order to avoid overheating the treatment zone it is necessary to
always move the diffuser with slow and uniform movements. Before proceding the
application clean the skin accurately and make sure that traces of detergents or
other products are not present.
Before starting the program put on the diffuser an abundant quantity of Globus Gel
or anticellulite cream.
Start the desired program and put the diffuser on the treatment area and slowly move
it with circular movements forward and backward.
Depending on the program a mild vibration or mild heat may be noticed.

Revisión del cabezal de tratamiento
Cada vez que limpie o desinfecte el cabezal al final de cada tratamiento, revise que éste no
tenga fisuras o filtración de líquido conductivo. En caso de fisuras, repare de inmediato.
Remplazo del manípulo y/o cabezal para tratamiento ultrasónico
En caso de tener que remplazar el cabezal o manípulo del tratamiento, lleve el equipo con
su revendedor o contacte al centro de asistencia para informarle acerca del procedimiento

Check of the head of treatment
Every time you clean or disinfect the treatment head and at the end of each treat-
ment, check that the diffuser doesn’t have fissures that could cause the seepage of
the conductive liquid. In case of fissures replace it immediately.
Replacement of handle and/or head of treatment for ultrasound
In case you have to replace the handle or the head of treatment take the product
to your reseller or contact the assistance centre to inform about the procedure for the
product delivery. A number of returning for the repairing will be communicated
(RMA).
Don't replace the parts device by yourself.

Cómo cargar las baterías (Accesorios)
El aparato está equipado con una batería recargable de Níquel Metal hidrato de alto
desempeño (12V, 4000mAh), sin efectos de memoria.
Cuando la pantalla indica que le resta ¼ de carga a la batería, se aconseja iniciar con la
recarga.
Después de apagar el equipo, conecte la fuente de alimentación incluida (Globus SWD
120418), al insertar el conector a un socket (ver el diagrama en la próxima página)
Para optimizar el estado de la batería, se recomienda cargar al máximo las primeras 3 veces
y, por ningún motivo, interrumpir el proceso.
Una carga completa toma de 6 a 8 horas; si el aparato se queda conectado por más de 72
horas, la batería no se verá afectada.
Utilice sólo el cargador incluido en el simulador. La batería sólo será remplazada en un
centro autorizado.
Advertencia:
Se puede utilizar el equipo, con normalidad, durante la recarga.
Si el cable o conector muestra signos de envejecimiento o desgaste, deberá remplazarlo de

CONNECTION TO WIRING
Connection to wiring
The Medisound 1000 - Medisound 3000 - Medisound Beauty apparatus function con-
nected to a 220 V electric network.
Do not use multiple plugs or adapters. Connect the device to an efficient and tested
socket.
In case of doubt, don’t connect the device.
Verify that the current tension corresponds to the voltage and frequency indicated
on the apparatus label (a wrong alimentation tension can damage the device). An
incorrect connection can be dangerous. Enter the plug in the current socket.
How to charge the battery (Accessory)
The apparatus can be equipped with a Nickel Metal Hydride high performance
rechargeable battery pack (12V, 4000mAh) without memory effect.
When the display indicates that the battery has just ¼ of charge left, it is advisable to
recharge it.
After turning the apparatus off, connect it to the power supply provided (Globus SWD
120418), by inserting the connector into the relevant socket (see diagram on the fol-
lowing page).
In order to optimize the state of the battery it is advisable to carry out the first 3 char-
ges to the full, and they must not be interrupted for any reason.
A complete recharge takes about 6-8 hours; should the apparatus accidentally stay
connected for longer than 72 hours the battery will not be damaged.
Only use the charger supplied with the stimulator. Battery should only be replaced
by an authorized centre.
Warning:
During the rechargement the device can be normally used.
Should the cable or connector show signs of wear and tear you should replace it
immediately.
Device removal
Don't throw the device out but recycle or get rid of it appropriately following
the removal rules in force in your country.

En el caso en que aparece la ventana de cable desconectado, verifique que el aparato, los

Control de contacto (NO CONTACT)
Mantega presionado el botón Fn por más de 3 segundos para inhabilitar el control de
contacto (se mostrará el símbolo en la esquina superior derecha de la pantalla) hasta el final
del tratamiento en curso. Para habilitar, de nuevo, la función, mantenga presionado el botón
Fn por más de 3 segundos.
Alarma de sobrecalentamiento
Se encenderán luces rojas + “hot” + “3 sec”. Si aparece un BIP en la pantalla, significa que
el cabezal o el ultrasonido se están sobrecalentando. La
máquina pausará todo automáticamente y se encenderá un
LED amarillo.
Sobrecalentamiento del cabezal
Añada gel al cabezal o sumérjalo en agua para que se
enfríe.
Sobrecalentamiento del ultrasonido: Revise que el ventilador
interno esté encendido y espere a que el LED rojo se apague
solo. Es posible terminar el tratamiento, después de esto, al presionar el botón OK
- si el LED rojo sigue encendido después de revisar estas dos opciones, apague el ultrasonido
y espere unos minutos más.
Al encender el ultrasonido, ¿Sigue encendido el LED rojo?
No: El problema se resolvió

This apparatus has a check of power emission. It is therefore necessary, before star-
ting any treatment, to ensure that the diffuser is connected to the apparatus, it is posi-
tioned on the area to be treated and has gel on the probe.
NOTE:
In case the window of not connected cable should appear verify that the appara-
tus, the cables and the diffuser are integral and correctly used. If the problem
should persist contact the assistance centres.
Contact control (no contact)
Press for more than 3 seconds the Fn button to disable the contact control (symbol
is shown on the upper right corner of the display) up to the end of the ongoing
treatment. To enable the control again, press for more than 3 second the "Fn" but-
ton.
Overheating alarms:
Red led lights up + "hot" + 3 “ sec. BIP is appearing on the display: means that
either the head or the ultrasound are overheating. The
machine goes automaticaly on pause and the yellow
Led lights up.
Overheating of the head: add gel onto the head or
immerse the head into water to cool it down.
Overheating of the ultrasound: Check that the internal
fan is on and wait for the red Led to turn itself off. Then
it is possible to finish the treatment by pressing the OK button.
- If the Red led is still on after checking these 2 solutions, turn off the ultrasound and
wait few more minutes.
Then turn on the ultrasound. Is the red led still on?
No: the problem is solved. you can start using the ultrasound
YES: contact your service assistance.

According to the acquired model, two different modes to create personalised pro-
grams are foreseen. In the Beauty version is it possible to create only one program (not
nameable) while on the 1000 and 3000 versions it is possible to create 30 nameable
programs.

Como nombrar un programa (Modelo 1000- 3000)
Use las teclas Izquierda y derecha para posicionar el cursor en el espacio en el que se
encuentran las letras o números a usar. Utilice las teclas ARRIBA/ ABAJO para seleccionar la
letra o número y confirme con las teclas IZQUIERDA y DERECHA
Después de ingresar el nombre del programa, confirme con el botón OK.
Use la tecla IZQUIERDA para regresar al menú principal.

botones P- y P+; presione la tecla Fn y la pantalla de confirmación se mostrará en pantalla.

How to delete a program (Model 1000 - 3000)
From the screen indicated in Table B, select the program you wish to delete with the

USO Y APLICACIONES PRETENDIDOS
Uso pretendido
Lea el manual de usuario cuidadosamente para evitar la instalación, uso y operaciones de
mantenimiento, incorrectos que puedan dañar al operador o al equipo. Los dispositivos de
magnetoterapia están diseñados para usarse en el siguiente rango de operaciones:

El dispositivo puede ser utilizado tanto por los pacientes (después de instruírseles en el uso
del aparato), como por el personal médico y paramédico.
NOTA: Los programas tienen valores de potencia preestablecidos (Unidad de medida:
Watts); por lo tanto, no es necesario ajustar el valor de la potencia.
Si tras el consejo de su terapeuta, usted desea modificar el protocolo de trabajo, al cambiar
la potencia, oprima el botón de potencia ARRIBA / ABAJO.
Aplicaciones de salud específicas
Los efectos terapéuticos del ultrasonido se deben, en parte, al incremento de temperatura.
Los efectos pueden ser como el de analgésicos, fibrolíticos o tróficos.
a) Analgesia
El efecto analgésico se debe al efecto de calor y, probablemente, a la acción directa que
ejerce el ultrasonido a las terminales nerviosas sensibles.
b) Acción fibrolítica
La oscilación en las partículas de tejidos producida por el ultrasonido, determina la
alteración de las fibras de colágeno de los tejidos fibrosos.
c) Efecto trófico
La vasodilatación, causada por el incremento térmico, facilita la remoción de catabolitos y
provee de sustancias nutritivas y oxígeno al los tejidos; de éste modo, el ultrasonido mejora
el trofismo de tejidos, facilita la reparación del tejido dañado y acelera la resolución de
procesos inflamatorios.
Aplicaciones de belleza específicas
- Aplicación para la absorción de sustancias activas en el cuerpo y la cara.
El programa se emplea para la aplicación de agentes cosméticos. El ultrasonido facilita la
absorción de aceites, vitaminas liposolubles, productos con liposomas, emulsiones y agentes
hidrosolubles.
El efecto es el de aumentar la permeabilidad de las células; disminuir la barrera funcional de
la piel, e incrementar la actividad de canales en los ingredientes activos.
-Tratamiento de arrugas superficiales y pieles sensibles
El tratamiento se usa para alizar y disminuir las arrugas (líneas de expresión). El ultrasonido,
gracias a sus efectos térmicos, calienta los tejidos y favorece los procesos metabólicos y
bioquímicos.
-Tratamiento para acné y granos en cara y cuerpo
Además del efecto antiinflamatorio, el ultrasonido activa los fibroblastos, que tienen un papel
importante en el proceso de regeneración post inflamatoria. El colágeno y las fibras elásticas
producidas después del tratamiento, incrementan la elasticidad del tejido, reduciendo la
formación de cicatrices post acné. También favorece la absorción de productos anti acné e
incrementa su efectividad.
-Tratamiento anti celulitis

NOTE: The programs have a pre-set power value (unit of measure Watt. Thus, it is not
necessary to adjust the power value.
If, upon your therapist's advice, you wish to modify the work protocol by changing the
power, hold the power UP/DOWN button.

The program is used for the application of cosmetic agents. The ultrasound facilitates
the absorption of oil , fat-soluble vitamins, products with liposome, emulsions and
water-soluble agents .
The effect is to increase the permeability of the cells, to diminish the functional barrier
works of skin and to increase the activity of channels of the active ingredients.
- Treatment for surface wrinkles and sensitive skins.
The treatment is used to spread and smooth he wrinkles (expression wrinkles). The
ultrasound, thanks to its thermic effects, warms the tissues and favours the metabolic
and biochemists processes
- Treatment for acne, pimples on face and body.
