- 1. 1 Surah Al-Baqarah:284-286 Faith: ّ ضارَ ا اۡل ّ ِف اَمَو ّ تهوهم َّالس ّ ِف اَم ّ هٰ ّ لِل ب هٰ الِل ِِّّ ا ب ُاۡ ّ بِاَبُ بُاوبُابُ اوَا ا ب ُ ّ سبُاَۡا ۡۤ ا ّ ِف اَم ااوُباۡبُ اّۡاَو َو بُءا ََََّّ اَۡمّل بُُّاۡغََََ ب ُ ََِّّٰبُي بُءا ََََّّ اَۡم ؕ ّٰ ب ُ ه ََٰ ب هٰ الِلَو ُايَُّق ٍُ ا َ َش ﴿ ۲۸۴ ﴾ َۡ اوبنّماؤبمالا َو َِِّّٰٖر اّۡم ِّايَلّا َلّزانبا ۡۤ اَمِّ بلاو بَُِّال ََۡمها ّ هٰ لِل ّ ِ ََۡمها ٌّ ب ُ ٖ ّ ل بِبرَو ِّٖۡبتبكَو ِّٖتَك ِٕ ٮءهلَمَو ٖ ّ ل بُِّر اّٰۡم ٍَُحَا َ ا ۡيَِ ب قَُُّٰبۡ َ ۡل اَناََطَاَو اَناَّ َ َس ااوبلاَقَو ب ا ي ّصَمالا َكايَلّاَو اَنََِّر ََكۡاَُاُبغ ﴿ ۲۸۵ ﴾ َاهََ ا ِبو َّ ۡلّا ا ًساَُۡ ب هٰ الِل ب فّٰ َكبي َ ۡل ا ََۡ َسََاكا اَم اَ ۡاَلَََو ا ََۡ َسَك اَم َاهَل ََااََۡاَا اوَا ۡۤ اَناۡ ّ سََّّ اّۡا ۡۤ ََاِِّّاَؤبُ َ ۡل اَنََِّر َنََِّر اَنّلابَق اّۡم َۡايّ َّ اَّل َ ََٰ َِٗتالَ َ َح ََ مَك اً ا ۡصّا ۡۤ اَنايَلََ الّماََت َ ۡلَو ا ِِّٖ اَنَل َََقاَط َ ۡل اَم اَنالّٰمَبَت َ ۡلَو اَنََِّر ۚ اَّنَۡ ب فاۡاَو ا ُُّاغاَو اَنَل اَناَ َحاارَو َۡايُُّّهكاال ّم اوَقالا َ ََٰ ََ ا ب اُصۡاََ اَنٮهلاوَم َ ۡاَۡا ﴿ ۲۸۶ ﴾ 284. To Allah belongs what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. If you disclose what is in your hearts or conceal it, Allah shall hold you accountable for it, then He will forgivewhomHe wills and punish whomHe wills. Allah is powerfulover everything. 285. The Messenger has believed in whathas been revealed to him fromhis Lord, and the believers as well. All havebelieved and His angels and His Books and His Messengers. “Wemake no divisions between any of His Messengers, “ and they have said: “wehave listened and obeyed. Our Lord, (weseek) Your pardon!And to you is the return”. 286. Allah does not obligate anyonebeyond his capacity. For him is what he has earned, and on him whathe has incurred. “Our Lord, do not hold us accountable, if we forgetor make a mistake, and, our Lord, do not place on us such a burden as you have placed on those beforeus, and, Our Lord, do not make us bear a burden for which we haveno strength. And pardon us, and grant us forgiveness, and havemercy on us. You are our Lord. So then help us againstthe disbelieving people”.
- 2. 2 Characteristics of theFaithful: Surah Al-Mominoon: 1-11 َۡ اوبنّماؤبمالا َحَلاََا ُاَق ﴿ ۱ ﴾ َۡ اوبَ َّاشِ امِّّت َ َل َ ص ا ّ ِف ابُه َۡايّ َّ اَّل ﴿ ۲ ﴾ ّاوَّۡلال َّۡۡ ابُه َۡايّ َّ اَّلَو َۡ اوضبُّاَبم ﴿ ۳ ﴾ َۡايّ َّ اَّلَو َۡ اوبلَّاََ ّةوهكَّلزّل ابُه ﴿ ۴ ﴾ َۡ اوبظُّهح امّ ّ ِجاو بُبُّل ابُه َۡايّ َّ اَّلَو ﴿ ۵ ﴾ ب ا يَغ امبَُّنّاََ امباُنبَماُيَا ا َۡكغَلَم اَم اوَا امّ ّ اِجَوازَا ءه ََٰ َّ ۡلّا َ ا ۡيّماوبلَم ﴿ ۶ ﴾ ََ َ ّ ِل هذ َُءاَرَو ىهَۡتاِا َّۡمََ َۡاوُبهَالا ببُه َك ِٕ ٮءهلوبا ۚ ﴿ ۷ ﴾ َۡ اوبۡاَر ا ّ ُهُّاهََۡو امِّّتهنهمَ ّ ۡل ابُه َۡايّ َّ اَّلَو ﴿ ۸ ﴾ َۡ اوبظَّاَبُ امِّّتهوَل َ ص ه ََٰ ابُه َۡايّ َّ اَّلَو ﴿ ۹ ﴾ َۡ اوبثّارَوالا ببُه َك ِٕ ٮءهلوبا ﴿ ۱۰ ﴾ اَ ۡاَّ ابُه َؕ ساَودا ُُّالا َۡ اوبثَُّي َۡايّ َّ اَّل ب ّ لهِ َۡاو ﴿ ۱۱ ﴾ 1. Success is really attained by the believers 2. Who concentrate their attention in humbleness when offering Salah (prayers) 3. And who keep themselves away from vain things, 4. And who are the performers of the Zakah, 5. And who guard their private parts 6. Except fromtheir wives or fromthose (bondwoman who are) owned by their hands, as they are not to be blamed. 7. However, thosewho seek (sexualpleasure) beyond that are the transgressors 8. And (success is attained) by those who honestly look after their trusts and covenant, 9. And who constantly observetheir prayers. 10.Those are the inheritors 11. Who will inherit Firdaus (the paradise). They will be there forever.
- 3. 3 Adab e Nabi(saww) Surah Al-Ihzab: 6, 21, 40, 56-58 6: ه ٰلاوَا ُّ ّ ِبَّنلَا اّمه ّ سبُاَۡا اّۡم َ ا ۡيّنّماؤبمال ّ ِ امب هِتبهَّمبا ۡۤ ِٗبجاَوازَاَو ؕ َ ا ۡيّنّماؤبمالا َّۡم ّ هٰ الِل ّ ِهتّك ا ّ ِف ٍ ٍاََِّۡ ه ٰلاوَا ابمه ُباََِ ّماَحارَ ا اۡلوابلوباَو اًَاو بُاََّم ا ب ُ ِٕ ٮءهيّلاوَا ءه ٰلّا ا ۡۤ اوبلََاَُُ اَۡا ۡۤ َّ ۡلّا َۡايُّّهجهبمالاَو ؕ َ ّ ِل هذ َََۡ اًر اوبَ ا سَم ّ ِهتّكاال ّ ِف ﴿ ۶ ﴾ The Prophet is closer to the believers than their own selves, and his wives aretheir mothers; and those having mutual kinship are closer to one another (for the purposeof inheritance) than (other) believers and emigrants according tio the book of Allah, unless you do some good to your friends (by making a will in their favor). This had been written in the book (the preserved Tablet). 21: وابجا َُي َََۡ اَۡمّٰل ََن َ بسَح ةَو ا ِبا ّ هٰ الِل ّلاو بَِر ا ّ ِف ا ب َُل َََۡ ُاَقَل ؕ اً ا يّثَك َ هٰ الِل ََُكَذَو َُّۡه ا اۡل َم اوَيالاَو َ هٰ الِل ﴿ ۲۱ ﴾ There indeed is a good model for you in the Messenger of Allah- for the one who has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah profusely. 40: ٍَُحَا ءآََِا َُّمَحبم َََۡ اَم َ ٰٖ ۡيَّّۡنال َ َ َاَتَِو ّ هٰ الِل َلاو بَِّر اّۡكغهلَو ا ب ُّلاَجّٰر اّٰۡم اًمايّلََ ٍُ ا َ َش ّٰ ب كّب ب هٰ الِل ََََۡو ؕؕ ﴿ ۴۰ ﴾ Muhammad is no a father of any of your men, but he is a messenger of Allah and the last of the prophets. And Allah has knowledgeof everything.
- 4. 4 56-58: اوبمّٰل ََِو ِّايَلََااوُّل َ ص ااوبنَمها َۡايّ َّ اَّل اَُُّّيَاغۡۤ هُي ؕ ّٰ ّ ِبَّنال َ ََٰ َۡ اوُّل َ صبُي َِٗتَك ِٕ ٮءهلَمَو َ هٰ الِل َّّۡا اًمايّل ا سَت ا ﴿ ۵۶ ﴾ َ هٰ الِل َۡاوبذاؤبُي َۡايّ َّ اَّل َّّۡا َُّۡه ا اۡلَو اَياُّۡادل ّ ِف ب هٰ الِل بمب ََنَََل َٗ َل او بَِرَو اًنايّهُّم ًِاَََِّ ابمهَل ََََُّاَو ّة ﴿ ۵۷ ﴾ اَم ّ ا َيِّۡ ّ ۡهنّماؤبمالاَو َ ا ۡيّنّماؤبمالا َۡاوبذاؤبُي َۡايّ َّ اَّلَو اًنايّبُّم اًماثّاَّو ًَاَتاُبب ااوبلَمَتااح َُّقََ ااوبۡ َ بسََاكا ﴿ ۵۸ ﴾ Surely, Allah and His Angels send blessings to the Prophet. O you who believe, do pray Allah to bless him, and send your Salam (prayer for his being in peace) to him in abundance. Surely, those who annoy Allah and His Messengers are cursed by Allah in this world and in the Hereafter, and He has prepared for them a humiliating punishment. As for thosewho hurtbelieving men and believing women without their having done anything (wrong) they shall bear the burden of slander and a manifestsin. Surah Al Hujrat: 1-18: 1-5: ّٖ َل او بَِرَو ّ هٰ الِل ّىََُُي َ ا ۡيَِ ااوبمَُّٰقبُ َ ۡل ااوبنَمها َۡايّ َّ اَّل اَُُّّيَۡۤ ه ٰي َ هٰ الِل وابقَُّا َو ا ّۡلََ ٌايّ َ َس َ هٰ الِل َّّۡا ﴿ ۱ ﴾ َ ۡل ااوبنَمها َۡايّ َّ اَّل اَُُّّيَۡۤ ه ٰي َ ۡلَو ّٰ ّ ِبَّنال ّ تاو َ ص َ قاوََ ا ب َُتاَو ا صَا ا ۡۤ اوبَََا َُت َت َ ۡل اب اغُتَۡاَو ا ب ُبالَ ا ۡعَا َطَۡاََت اَۡا ٍ ٍاََّۡل ا ب ُ ُّاََِ ُّاهَجَك ّلاوَقال ّ ِ َٗ َل ااو بَُهاََت َۡاو بُبَ ا َ ﴿ ۲ ﴾ َّتلّل امبَُباوبلبق ب هٰ الِل ََۡحَتاام َۡايّ َّ اَّل َك ِٕ ٮءهلوبا ّ هٰ الِل ّلاو بَِر َُانّۡ امبَاِتَو ا صَا َۡ او ُُّبَُۡي َۡايّ َّ اَّل َّّۡا ىهواق َّم ابمهَل ُاجَاَّو ةَُُّاۡ ا ّۡظَۡ ﴿ ۳ ﴾ َۡ اوبلّقاََُي َ ۡل ابُهبَ َثاكَا ّ ته ُبجبحالا ُّءاَرَّو اّۡم ََكۡابوداَنبُي َۡايّ َّ اَّل َّّۡا ﴿ ۴ ﴾ امّۡاَلّا َجبُاَُ هٰ ّتَح ااوبَ َب َ ص امبَُّنَا اوَلَو ابمهَّل اً ا َيِ َۡ َغَكَل ا ّۡحَّر ر اوبَُغ ب هٰ الِلَو ﴿ ۵ ﴾ O you who believe, do no proceed ahead of Allah and His Messenger, and fear Allah. Surely Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. O you who believe, do not raiseyour voices above the voice of the Prophet, and be not loud when speaking to him, as you are loud when speaking to one another, lest your good deeds should become void while you are not aware. Surely, those who lower their voices before Allah’s Messenger are the one whosehearts Allah has tested for piety, for them there is forgiveness and a great reward. As for thosewho call frombehind the chambers, mostof them have no sense. Had they remained patient until you come out to them, it would havebeen much better for them. And Allah is most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.
- 5. 5 Social Ethics: 6-8: اَُُّّيَۡۤ ه ٰي قِّاََابُكَُءاَج اّۡا ا ۡۤ اوبنَمها َۡايّ َّ اَّل اًماوَق ااوبۡاي ّصبُ اَۡا ا ۡۤ اوبنَََّۡۡتََ ٍاَبَنِّ ؕ َ ا ۡيّمُّهۡ اب ُتالََََ اَم ه ََٰ ااوبحّۡ ا صبتََ ٍَ َاَلهَ ّ ِب ؕ ﴿ ۶ ﴾ ّ هٰ الِل َلاو بَِر ا ب ُاََّ ََّۡا ا ۡۤ اوبمَلاَاَو امَ ا اۡل َّٰۡم ٍ ا يّثَك ا ّ ِف ا ب ُبَايَّبُي اوَل َِٗنَُّيَزَو َۡاَماُيّ ا اۡل ب ب ُايَلّا َ َِّبَح َ هٰ الِل َّّۡكغهل َو اُّ ُتّنَََل ُّ َۡاَي ا صَّالاَو َ قاو بسبُالاَو َُاُبكاال ب ب ُايَلّا َََُُّكَو ا ب ُّباوبلبق ا ّ ِف َۡاوُب ّشهُٰال ببُه َك ِٕ ٮءهلوبا ﴿ ۷ ﴾ ًََماََّۡو ّ هٰ الِل َّٰۡم ً َل ا ََُ ا ّۡلََ ب هٰ الِلَو ؕؕ ّكَح ا ۡ ﴿ ۸ ﴾ O you who believe, if a sinful person brings you a report, verify its correctness, lestyou should harm a people out of ignorance, and then become remorsefulon what you did. And know that among you there is the Messenger of Allah. If he obeys you in many a matter, you will certainly fall into hardship. ButAllah has endeared to you the Faith, and made it beautiful in your hearts, and made detestable to you the disbelief and sins and disobedience. Such people are rightly guided, as a gracefrom Allah, and as a blessing. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-wise. 9-10: اَمب ََناَِۡ ااوبحّل ا صَاََ ااوبلَتَتاقا َ ا ۡيّنّماؤبمالا َّۡم ّ ه ٰتَُ ِٕ ٮءاَط اّۡاَو َُءاىَُُّ هٰ ّتَح اىّۡاَُۡ ا ّ ّتَّلا وابلُّاَقََ ىه ُۡاب ا اۡل َ ََٰ اَمبُههُاحّا ا ََِۡۡ اّۡاََ ُّامَا ءه ٰلّا ّ هٰ الِل ؕ ااوبَ ّ ساقَاَو ّلُاََال ّ ِ اَمب ََناَِۡ ااوبحّل ا صَاََ ا تَُءاََ اّۡاََ َ ا ۡيَّ ّ ساقبمالا ُّ ِّبُ َ هٰ الِل َّّۡا ﴿ ۹ ﴾ ةَۡاوّا َۡ اوبنّماؤبمالا اَمَّّۡا ا ب ُايََوَۡا َ ا ۡيَِ ااوبحّل ا صَاََ َۡ اوب َ َحا ُبت ا ب َُّلَََل َ هٰ الِلوابقَُّاَو If two groups of the believers fight each other, seek reconciliation between them. And if one of them commits aggression againstthe other, fight the one that commits aggression until it comes back to Allah’s command. So if it comes back, seek reconciliation between them with fairness, and maintain justice. Surely Allah loves those who maintain justice. 11: ّٰم ُءا َسَّّ َ ۡلَو امب َناّٰم اً ا َيِ اابوۡاوبكَّي اَۡا ءه ٰسَۡ ٍم اوَق اّٰۡم م اوَق ا َُخ ا سََّ َ ۡل ااوبنَمها َۡايّ َّ اَّل اَُُّّيَۡۤ ه ٰي اَۡا ءه ٰسَۡ ٍُءا َسَّّٰ اۡ َّۡب َناّٰم اً ا َيِ َّۡبكَّي ّ ُ اَقالَ ا ۡل ّ ِ ااوبزَابَنَُ َ ۡلَو ا ب ُ َسبُاَۡا ا ۡۤ اوبزّمالَُ َ ۡلَو ّۡاَماُيّ ا اۡل َُاََِ ب قاو بسبُالا ب ا ۡ ّ اۡل َ َاِّۡ ۚ َۡ اوبمّل هٰالظ ببُه َك ِٕ ٮءهلوباََ ا ِبََُي امَّل اَۡمَو ﴿ ۱۱ ﴾ O you who believe, no men should ever scoff at other men. May be, the latter are better than the former. Nor should women (ever scoff) at other women. May be, the latter women are better than the former ones. And do not find fault with one another, nor call one another with bad nicknames. Bad is the name of sinfulness after embracing Faith. If anyonedoes not repent, then such people are the wrongdoers.
- 6. 6 12-18 ي ه ؕ ۤ َّّٰۡالظ َّٰۡم اًا يّثَك ااوبّۡنَتااج وابنَمها َۡايّ َّ اَّل اَُُّّيَاغ ا ثّا َّّٰۡالظ َ ٍاََِ َّّۡا ا ًُاََِ ا ب ُ ُباََِّ ْ َِتاَُۡي َ ۡلَو ااو بس َّسَََت َ ۡلَّو ؕ َا بُاوبمبتاهَُّكََ اًتاََم ِّاََّۡا َماحَل َ ب ُاَّٰي اَۡا ابُبُكَحَا ُّ ِّبُ ؕ َ هٰ الِل وابقَُّاَو ؕ ا ّۡحَّر ُ اَّوَُ َ هٰ الِل َّّۡا ﴿ ۱۲ ﴾ ََّّا ب اسَّنال اَُُّّيَۡۤ ه ٰي ا ب ُهناقَلَِ ااوبََارَََتّل َل ِٕ ٮءاَبَقَّو ًِ اوبَ بش ا ب ُهنالَََجَو ه اٰثۡباَّو ٍَُكَذ اّٰۡم ؕ ا ب ُكهقاُ َا ّ هٰ الِل َُانّۡ ا ب َُمَُاكَا َّّۡا ؕ ا ّيبَۡ ا ّۡلََ َ هٰ الِل َّّۡا ﴿ ۱۳ ﴾ ّ َۡلاَق اَّنَمها ب ُ اَُاَۡ ا اۡل ؕ اوبق اّۡكغهلَو ااوبنّماؤبُ امَّل ْلبق ا ب ُّباوبلبق ا ّ ِف بۡاَماُيّ ا اۡل ّبلُِاَُي اَّمَلَو اَنامَل ا َِا ا ۡۤ اوبل ۚ َ ۡل َٗ َل او بَِرَو َ هٰ الِل وابَايَّبُ اّۡاَو اــًٔـاَ َش ا ب ُّلاَ ا ۡعَا اّٰۡم ا ب ُاتّلَُي ؕ ا ّۡحَّر ر اوبَُغ َ هٰ الِل َّّۡا ﴿ ۱۴ ﴾ ّ هٰ لِل ّ ِ ااوبنَمها َۡايّ َّ اَّل َۡ اوبنّماؤبمالا اَمَّّۡا ااوبِ ََت ا َُي امَل َّ ب ث ّٖ َل او بَِرَو ّ هٰ الِل ّلاََّ َِ ا ّ ِف اّمه ّ سبُاَۡاَو اّمهّلاَوامَ ّ ِااوُبَهاَجَو ؕ َۡ اوبقُّ هٰ الص ببُه َك ِٕ ٮءهلوبا ﴿ ۱۵ ﴾ بََلاََُي ب هٰ الِلَو ؕ ا ب ُّنغاُيُِّّ َ هٰ الِل َۡ اوبمّٰلََبُ َا البق ّ ضارَ ا اۡل ّ ِف اَمَو ّ تهوهم َّالس ّ ِف اَم ب هٰ الِلَو ا ّۡلََ ٍُ ا َ َش ّٰ ب كّب ﴿ ۱۶ ﴾ ااوبمَل ا َِا اَۡا َكايَلََ َۡ اوُّنبمَُي ؕ َّ َ ََٰ ااوُّنبمَُ َّ ۡل ْلبق ا ب َُم َ َل ا ِّا ۚ َ ا ۡيّقُّ ه ص اب غُتانبك اّۡا ّۡاَماُيّ ا َلّل ا ب ُكهَُه اَۡا ا ب ُايَلََ ُّۡبمَُي ب هٰ الِل ّلَِ ﴿ ۱۷ ﴾ هوهم َّالس َ ِايَغ بََلاََُي َ هٰ الِل َّّۡا ّ ت ّ ضارَ ا اۡلَو َۡ اوبلَماََُ اَمِّ ٌۢ ا ي ّصَِ ب هٰ الِلَو ﴿ ۱۸ ﴾ O you who believe, abstain from many of the suspicions. Somesuspicions aresins. And do not be curious (to find out faults of others), and do not backbite one another. Does one of you like that he eats the flesh of his dead brother? You would abhor it. And fear Allah. Surely Allah is the Most-Relenting, Very-Merciful. O mankind, We havecreated you froma male and a female, and made you into races and tribes, so that you may identify one another. Surely the noblest of you, in the Allah’s sight, is the one who is mostpious of you. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-aware. The Bedouins say, “We havecome to believe”. Say, “You have not come to believe,” instead, you (should) say, “Wehave surrendered” and the belief has not entered your hearts so far. If you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not curtail (the reward of) any of your deeds in the least. Surely Allah is mostforgiving, Very-Merciful. Believers, in fact, are thosewho believe in Allah and His Messenger, then have no doubt, and struggle, with their riches and their lives, in the way of Allah. Those are the truthful. Say, “Would you appriseAllah of your religion, while Allah knows all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and Allah is All-Knowing abouteverything?” They oblige you that they have accepted Islam, (as if it was a favor shown to you). Say, “Do not oblige me for your accepting Islam. Rather Allah makes you obliged for His having guided you to Faith, if you are truthful. Surely Allah knows theUnseen of the heavens and the earth, and Allah keeps in sight whatever you do.
