Studying and Living in
Copenhagen
Mai
From Japan, an exchange student
from Keio University
Modern buildings !
Big windows,
colorful buildings (and no
curtains!)
Traditional buildings…
Here, we can see
Also..
Beautiful sky!
We cannot see such
a beautiful and wide
Sky in Japan !
Everyone can speak English well,
but there is no sign in English
If an emergency
thing happened, I
might not be able
to understand the
situation …
Even public documents and emails from University,
there is no English translations …
Its really
annoying
sometimes….
Sometimes, I can see my Culture here.
(It’s very good for my research: )
Joined an origami workshop as an assistant, which is held by a
Japanese designer.
This is me!
Everything is expensive and hard to
live, but a beer is a good price!
Also, I noticed that almost
all the event, people drink
a beer. (Before I came
here, I could not drink
beers, but now I can!)
There are a lot of places I can relax,
if the weather is permit(important).
I could experience both Halloween and Day of
the Dead culture in the same day!
Good food makes me happy!
For me, food in Denmark is
not so good.
but I realized that if I pay a lot,
I can get a super yummy food
in CPH too!
The terrorism in France
depressed me a lot.
Danes really love Christmas.
Too early preparation for Christmas
I was surprised that I could
see a ton of Christmas stuffs
just after Halloween. Also, I
realized that the Danes love
Christmas so much! I joined
a Christmas party for all the
volunteers at the student
house.
It was so much fun!!! (and
good excuse to drink)
