An exchange student from Japan shares their experiences studying and living in Copenhagen, Denmark. They note the beautiful sky and architecture, but find a lack of English translations challenging at times. 5. Everyone can speak English well,
but there is no sign in English
If an emergency
thing happened, I
might not be able
to understand the
situation …

there is no English translations …
Its really
annoying
sometimes….

8. Joined an origami workshop as an assistant, which is held by a
Japanese designer.

9. Everything is expensive and hard to
live, but a beer is a good price!
Also, I noticed that almost
all the event, people drink
a beer. (Before I came
here, I could not drink
beers, but now I can!)

10. There are a lot of places I can relax,
if the weather is permit(important).

11. I could experience both Halloween and Day of
the Dead culture in the same day!

12. Good food makes me happy!
For me, food in Denmark is
not so good.
but I realized that if I pay a lot,
I can get a super yummy food
in CPH too!

13. The terrorism in France
depressed me a lot.

14. Danes really love Christmas.
Too early preparation for Christmas
I was surprised that I could
see a ton of Christmas stuffs
just after Halloween. Also, I
realized that the Danes love
Christmas so much! I joined
a Christmas party for all the
volunteers at the student
house.
It was so much fun!!! (and
good excuse to drink)
