O Workshop de dia inteiro sobre o tema “Reabilitação Sustentável” terá lugar no Auditório da CCDR do Algarve em Faro. O enfoque deste Workshop está na demonstração das oportunidades de intervenção no meio edificado, conducentes à optimização do desempenho energético-ambiental dos edifícios, assentando em soluções construtivas robustas e inovadoras, validadas pelos principais intervenientes nos processos construtivos. Apesar da optimização do desempenho energético-ambiental do meio edificado constituir uma área prioritária de intervenção, tem-se demonstrado extremamente difícil melhorar a qualidade de construção que continua a ser pouco adaptada ao clima local e não corresponde ao grau de conforto desejado. A complexidade do sector da construção, o contexto da atual crise económica e o abrandamento da atividade no sector da construção coloca uma nova ênfase na reabilitação urbana, o que conduz a uma mudança do modelo de decisão no sector da construção. Neste novo modelo, o promotor imobiliário e a sua equipa de projeto são, em parte, substituídos pelo proprietário do imóvel que agora toma as decisões relevantes, pelo que se torna essencial aumentar os conhecimentos técnicos de que este dispõe.
