Erdenebat Boldbaatar Maam was born in 1990 in Zuunbayan soum, Dornogobi aimag. He was raised by his grandparents and excelled academically and in sports throughout his schooling. He graduated from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology in 2012 with a degree in Exploration Drilling Equipment and Technology. Since then, he has worked in various drilling, mining, and IT roles for companies across Mongolia, receiving several awards for his work performance and safety leadership. He has also completed additional training programs to further his skills and qualifications.

1. Brief History Erdenebat Boldbaatar Maam
Erdenebat, son of Boldbaatar Maam, I, was born as the first son of Boldbaatar in the maternity house
in Zuunbayan soum, Dornogobi aimag on November 24, 1990. I was raised by my grandma and
grandpa. I entered the 10-year school of Zuunbayan soum in 1998. I was a leading student in my class
in terms of education, arts and sports. I occupied the first place in the chess championship between
1998 and 2008. I received the best student award of the 10-year school of Zuunbayan soum in 2006.
Later, I occupied the First Place in the IQ competition among the Dornogobi aimag youngsters. I
successfully completed my secondary school in 2008 and entered the Exploration Drilling Equipment
and Technology class at Mongolian University of Science and Technology.
The reason I chose the major was my grandpa Maam was a petroleum drilling engineer and my father
was a driller at petroleum drilling in Zuunbayan oil field. During my study at the university, I was
leading my class and was the head of the class. I successfully attended the academic speech contest
organized by Tanan Impex LLC in an annual basis. In 2009, I took the first place in the chess
competition organized among the students in the dorm.
I successfully graduated my university in 2012 and was employed as a mechanic at Major Drilling
Mongol LLC. I was appointed as a drilling mechanic for the exploration drill of Boartlongyear LM-90
at the depth of 1,300 meter in the Shaft 1 of the Underground Project of Oyu Tolgoi LLC. During my
work, I led my colleagues in terms of safety and work performance. I received Gratitude Letter and
Best Monthly Employee awards. In 2013, I took the first place in the National Contest for Exploration
Bar Drilling organized by the Mongolian Drilling Association representing the company.
I entered the company called MMID LLC in 2014 and worked in the Xanadu Mining LLC’s field
located in Manlai soum, Umnugobi aimag. At the field, I was also leading my colleagues and was
awarded with Best Safety Employee. Later, I took Best Safety and Workplace Neatness Award when I
was working in polymetal exploration in Nomgon soum, Umnugobi aimag. I was selected as the best
employee when I was working in Terra Energy coal mine in Noyon soum in the same aimag. During
my work history, I attended and successfully completed the Occupational Safety and Hygiene course
organized by the Mongolian Federation for Trade Unions.
I started to work as a PC repairman at Tim Top Zone LLC from August, 2015 and worked there for
PC software, hardware and network maintenance. During my work there, I was responsible for the
security for the internal network and software in Mongolian Constitutional Court, Mongolian
Federation of Trade Unions, Kharanga Resources, Tuushin Group and California Restaurant. During
my work at the above companies, I attended and successfully completed the IT engineer training
organized by the Information Technology and Management Academy. Also, I took an exam at the
Professional Skills Commission and took the 4th
grade welder at the Labor and Welfare Services
Authority, Implementing Agency of the Government.
I was working for polymetal exploration at SRM LLC in Uulbayan soum, Sukhbaatar aimag between
May and September, 2016.
I also was a contractor driller and Occupational Safety and Hygiene Engineer at Hanjin Mining
Equipment LLC in Khuut mine in Dornod aimag between September and December with successful
completion of exploration drilling.
