Sherron Killingsworth Roberts is an Associate Professor of Literacy and Language Arts at the University of Central Florida. As a professor of children’s literature and language arts, she has been fortunate to have her research regarding literacy as social practice, innovative pedagogy, the role of children’s literature, professional development and her poetry published in The Reading Teacher, Journal of Teacher Education, Journal of Adult and Adolescent Literacy, Journal of Reading Education, Journal of Poetry Therapy, and Reading Horizons among others.
