North Trail students in first and second grade met a 45 pound Tom Turkey that could end up receiving the coveted Presidential Pardon. It was a unique learning opportunity provided by the Minnesota Turkey Growers Association and Willmar Poultry. President Obama is expected to excuse one Turkey from the table next Wednesday, the day before the Thanksgiving holiday.
