2. INTRODUCTION
• first of all , i want to say that i was very pleased to work on my best movie
presentation " INTO THE WILD", I've already read the book( French
version), before watching it and it was a wonderful story . it's kind of story
that can change your vision of life , also your way of thinking in order to
reconcile with nature
3. INTO THE WILD is an
inspirational film based on
the book written by "Jon
Krakauer" , the book
recounts the real travels of
Christopher McCandless
across North America and
his life spent in the
Alaskan wilderness in the
early 1990s.
4. story
• Christopher McCandless was a young man just
graduated from the university with a bachelor’s
degree, bored essentially from cities life and exactly
society rules ( he called it crazy breed)
• so he decides to drive to the west with a lot of
principles in his mind ( if we admit that human life
can be ruled by reason, the possibility of life is
destroyed ) he damaged all his credits cards, and
gives his money to charity, he walks the earth for
two years with no cigarettes, no pool no pets and
no phone , he went for an ultimate freedom.
5. story
• far away from civilization. He kept a journal
describing his physical and spiritual progress
as he faced the forces of nature
6. • Christopher McCandless was a big thinker he
had his own philosophy that there is no need
for human relationship to be happy
In April 1992, McCandless hitchhiked from
Enderlin, North Dakota, to Fairbanks, Alaska.
He was last seen alive on April 28, 1992, by
Jim Gallien, a south central Alaskan
electrician, who gave him a ride from
Fairbanks to the head of the Stampede Trail
story
7. • On August 12, 1992, McCandless wrote what
are apparently his final words in his journal:
"Beautiful Blueberries.“
McCandless have been poisoned by a toxic
alkaloid called swainsonine, by ingesting
seeds which causes starvation despite ample
caloric intake.
story
8. “INTO THE WILD” is the best movie ever that show
us that happiness isn’t only counted on material
things and also human relationship as CHRIS
Mccandles said , happiness is more simple , it’s
enjoying what we already have, it’s about natural
things and especially escaping from societies
rules, this definition has changed a lot of youth
mentalities, they become in love with nature.
also Moroccans youth inspired from this kind of
movies, hence they become more nature
respecters , and they discovered some wild places
like “ paradise valley”, and “akchour”.
analyse
9. • In the other hand the majority of this movie
audience, tought that wild happiness is the
real one, but human relationships are the way
of life, human relationship gives that good
taste to happiness, and as CHRIS McCANDLES
had as a conclusion “happiness only real
when shared”.
10. Happiness has a different definitions, but in my
opinion, I think happiness is loving what we
have, and stop looking for something that can
causes sadness, wildness and freedom are
equals and as we say often “freedom first, the
rests are details” , we must share this
freedom who gives us this great feeling with
others, if we really want to be happy.
