includes:
– Phone screen / telephone interview
– Personal interview
– Skills testing
– Minimum of 2 technical references from past supervisors
– Verification of degrees and certifications (upon request)
– Drug testing (upon request)
– Criminal background check (upon request)
– Credit check (upon request)
Additionally, each candidate is screened on a per-job basis, meaning the recruiter reviews the details of
the job with a candidate prior to submittal to make certain that the candidate understands the scope of the
responsibilities, duration, pay and all other relevant information.

In an annual survey published in the IT Services Business Report by Staffing Industry
Analysts, Apex Systems Inc. was ranked as the 10th largest IT Staffing Company in
the United States. With annual IT Staffing revenue exceeding $296 million in 2006,
Apex Systems grew by 65% over 2005, the second highest growth rate among the
top 30.
Apex Systems Named Entrepreneur of the Year
In 2003 Apex Systems was awarded the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Award in the Human Resources Solutions category for the state of Virginia. In 2002
Apex Systems was recognized as a finalist in the same category.
