An after-school jewellery making class is offered where students can design and make a piece of sterling silver jewelry over six weeks, learning skills like materials introduction, tool usage, and safety techniques to produce a pendant or ring. The hands-on class meets on Monday afternoons starting February 17th from 3:30-4:30pm in the school's Design & Technology department, costs 450dhs, and has limited spaces available.

A SIX-WEEK COURSE RESULTING IN AN OUTCOME MADE IN STERLING SILVER
An opportunity to design and make a piece of jewellery in silver
A chance to feel proud of something you have designed and made
An after-school club in which you get to learn new skills and make something different
The classes are very ‘hands-on’ and start with an introduction to materials and basic
manufacturing techniques. Guidance is also given in the use of all tools and related health and
safety issues
These skills and techniques are then used to produce an outcome of either a pendant or silver
ring, depending upon the complexity of the chosen design
The course will be held in the Design & Technology department of the school. The course is 6
weeks in total. A commitment of 6 weeks is expected if a place is to be reserved and payment
is expected in full
Classes are MONDAY AFTERNOONS STARTING FEBRUARY 17th FROM 3.30-4.30pm
