• Operating system iOs 11 has been
presented on June 5th 2017 during
Apple’s great conference for
developers, the Worldwide Developers
Conference (WWDC).
• The fourth beta version of iOS 11 was
released on August 7th 2017.
• The official release of the operating
system is scheduled for Autumn 2017,
at the same time as the one of the
iPhone 8.

The user has the possibility to

an iMessage shortcut on Safari,
Spotlight, Siri or Plans.
Synchronisation iCloud
The Synchronization
functionality iCloud /

SIRI.
Apple’s vocal assistant has improved:
• Its voice is more « human-like »;
• It evolved in terms of predictable
analysis, presenting personalized
search suggestions based on user
habits;
• It is now able to translate sentences
from English to French, Chinese,
German, Italian and Spanish.

GEOLOCALIZATION.
The user is notified when its localization datas are used while an application
is active or in background.

LIVE PHOTOS.
In addition to the fact that new filters have
emerged, it is now possible to create video
loops, merge pictures into one and to create an
artificial blur effect like a reflex camera would
do.

A video recording option of
the iPhone’s screen has
emerged. Numerous editions
and annotation tools are also
included.

from the iPhone. No more
need to use an external

mobile payment with Apple Pay. NFC now

A password manager has been
introduced, allowing to keep and push the
client’s identifiers when he/she wants to
connect to an application.

iPhone under iOS 11 detects when the user
is driving avoiding to be distracted by calls,
SMS or notifications.

APP STORE.
The App Store has been
redesigned: themed tabs
such as « Today »,
« Games »,
« Applications », and
« Upgrades » have
emerged.

UNUSED APPS.
Unused apps will automatically
be deleted. They will then be
shaded out on the welcome
screen.
The possibility to reinstall automatically deleted
applications still remains. Linked datas are kept as well
as when the applications are uninstalled by the user.

HOMEKIT.
Domotic API HomeKit,
allowing to control house
objects via iPhone, has
been extended.

are now being
addressed by HomeKit.

APPLE PAY.
The Mobile payment system « Apple
Pay » allows Apple users to send small
amount of money instantly via iMessage.
It includes digital fingerprint Touch ID for
more increased security

• Multi Screen will allow to display up to
3 applications on the screen.
• Drag & drop has been introduced to
put files, text or images from one app
to the other.
• The File explorator eases the file
search on the Cloud or on tablet.
