A presentation of the cast we plan to use for our A level media studies production.

2. Detective Swanson (Nathan J)
A mysterious man, with an eye for justice.
His past is shrouded in enigma, he comes
across as abrasive in his pursuit for the
truth. He has a sharp tongue and wont take
lip from anyone.
Well felt we need someone who show little
humanity and appear empty.We believe
that Nathan would be an effective actor as
he is able to appear emotionless.

3. Mafia Boss (Alexander B)
The Mafia Boss has no name, he is only
known as “Big Boss”, and he rules the city
through terror and might. His wealth is
only matched by his might. If he wants
someone gone, they’re as good as dead.
He is a wealthy British man who moved to
America to further expand his expression.
He is a stereotypical British man, posh
accent and enjoys his tea.
We wanted someone with a naturally posh
voice, and we felt that Alexander fit this
criteria best.Along with his stern gaze to
create a formidable antagonist.

4. Chief Of Police(Ben S)
A man who just wishes to up hold the law.
Sees the world as is it, he will try and sway
the detective from digging deeper.
Conservative. Strong willed.
We felt that Ben would be the best choice for
this character as he shows qualities akin to
him.

5. Secretary (AlexanderW)
This character breaks the stereotype
of the secretary of the 1930’s, who was
expected to be a women.They seen as
someone who spends most of the time
daydreaming. Naïve.
We felt it would be best to cast Alex as
the secretary. Due to his optimistic
view on life.
