Single U-Channel Sign Supports Project
 The objective is to evaluate the MASH
crashworthiness of single-post, U-channel
sign supports.
 Main tasks include:
1) Survey – Helped put together a survey of
currently utilized small sign configurations.
2) Literature Review – Looked at test reports
of previous testing done on U-Channel sign
supports.
3) Selection of critical sign configurations.
4) Dynamic bogie testing - bogie test
critical sign configurations selected.
