Teacher, entrepreneur, mother of two children, inspired in this work through a child with special needs who has far surpassed medical expectations due to the intervention of Margot Heiniger-White, an occupational therapist who collaborated with Debra on two levels: personally with Debra's daughter and professionally with Debra's Title I reading students. With no intention of becoming a speaker, author, and advocate for collaboration, Debra continues on a path that seems predetermined for her.
