1. My Goals and Future<br />By: Savannah Jordan<br />My goal for the next three years is to graduate from high school with a scholarship to a good college. I would prefer it be to the University of Tennessee or Alabama. If it is not one of these I would be happy to just as long as I get accepted. I would like my scholarship to be an academic scholarship or a softball scholarship. <br />Once I am in college I am going to study Oncology. This will require so medical a few years at a Medical school, one year of being an intern, and about three years of residency. I will do the internship and residency after I graduate from college. Then I will try to find a job in a laboratory trying to find the cure for cancer. I will study the cells and try to find what is wrong with them and why they are mutating.<br />Once I find a steady job I am going to buy a house. It will probably be in North Carolina unless I have to find a job somewhere else. After I move in to my house I will get married. I will continue working the same field, but I want to open my own research center and I would like it to be one of the best ones in the state. <br />When I accomplish this I might have kids but I am not sure about that yet. If I don’t have my own kids I am going to adopt kids; this is something that I have wanted to do for a while. Another thing that I want to do is go overseas and do missionary work. I want to do this because I will be a great life and learning experience. I will also be able to spread the word of God by doing this. <br />During all of this I will make a bucket list. I will accomplish this as I go on through life. Some things that will be on this list are skydiving, meeting Monica Abbott, going to France, and bungee jumping. Another thing that I want to do before I die is to become famous for something that I accomplished. <br />I have always wanted to have a small farm at my house when I am older. It will consist of chickens, cows, horses, and a goat. It will just be big enough for me and my family. My Family and I will maintain it by ourselves. It will be hard work and a lot of responsibility but I think that I can handle it. <br />When I retire I will probably move to a new house in North Carolina or out of state somewhere like Florida. After I retire I will also take a vacation to Costa Rica in October and volunteer to help hatching baby sea turtles make it to sea. If I get to do this I know it will be something that I will never forget. If I have enough money I would like to do this for a few more years, so I have the experience more than once. <br />For the rest of my life I will do whatever I feel like doing. If I get bored being retired I will go back to work somewhere, that way I have something to do during the day. I could just spend the rest of my days traveling all over the world with my sister and husband. I will make sure I do spend some time with my sister in my older days.<br />These are my future goals and some achievements that I want to make in the future. It might take a little while to accomplish these but I have time. I would like to do all of these things before I die. If I don’t I will be satisfied with what I had accomplished.<br /> <br />
