1. Introduction
Unfortunately, every day there are more attacks that happen in sport in general and
in football, these cases often affect the referee of the match. These situations are
unpleasant and should be penalized and avoided in every way.
A new weekend of football and a new weekend that a referee is hit. This time it
happened very close to us, in a Alicante town, Villajoyosa. Fortunately in this case, the
referee has no serious injuries, but he had to live a bad time, just for doing his job
properly.
2. The last case
This incident happened when one of the players fell to the ground, by a lack of the
opposite team, the player had to be helped by the doctor with the referee's permission,
who entered in the football pitch to check that the player was well.
Then, the referee asked to the doctor and the player leave the football pitch to be
attended, and the match could continue. At that moment, the player stood and gave him
a head butt in the face of the referee. Quickly, other players and people on the bench
caught the player and the referee to finish the aggression.
The saddest thing about this situation is that the player hits the referee when he was
right and he was doing his job well.
The regulation says that injured players can only be evaluated in the football pitch and
have to leave this, to be seen by the doctor. For this reason, the referee asks the player to
leave the field that is what he should do
After this weekend, it is clearer still that referees are not safe neither doing his job well.

3. Conclusion
It is shameful that people who enjoy watching sport have to witness such ugly
scenes and a person who just does his job, be attacked for no reason.
We only hope that finally the federation, have a good answer to this kind of people who
only dirties the image of the sport.
