The Tourism Advisory Council, along with Tourism PEI, will present the second annual Brand Essence Award this evening. This exciting award recognizes one PEI tourism operator annually who has successfully adapted The Gentle Island of Rejuvenation into their marketing materials.
In 2005, with solid research and excellent brand expertise in our agency of record, Grey Canada, the brand was born. As it took shape, we all became familiar with the brand mantra, ‘What if the world had been to Prince Edward Island?’ ‘Everyone who came to our Island would come home a different person. They would be kinder, gentler, and at peace with everything.’
