12. PRINCIPLES OF BAG TECHNIQUE

The bag and its contents are all designed for efficiency
and cleanliness.
The bag and its contents must be kept clean and ready
for use all the time.
The hands must be washed with soap and water each
time before touching the bag.
The nurse must avoid touching dirty or contaminated
things between the time of washing hands and
handling bag equipments.
Place the bag over newspaper or met.
13. 2. Boil contaminated instruments and equipment before
returning them to the bag. Articles contaminated by
soil must be autoclaved to be safe from spores.

performance of nursing procedures.

the patient rather should show the effectiveness of
total care given to an individual or family.
