Deputies and Senators of the nation. It was
built at the beginning of the 20th century.

oak, Baccarat's crystal and Carrara's marble. A library
works in it with more than one million copies and a
complete newspaper library.

construction called Old Poultry market that was

It is the principal catholic temple of Argentina.
The current church was completed between
1752 and 1852, though his decoration
concluded in 1911. The building possesses a

cathedrals, because it does not possess towers

catholic typical temple.

9. The Cemetery of Recoleta
It is a famous cemetery located in the
distinguished neighbourhood of Recoleta where
there are buried the major number of
personalities of the country. The principal entry
is the portico formed by four columns of Doric
Greek order without base, concluded during
one of his big reforms arranged in 1881 by the
intendant of the Municipality, Torcuato de
Alvear.

11. The Teatro Colón
It is the main opera house in Buenos
Aires, Argentina, acoustically considered to be
amongst the five best concert venues in the
world. The present Colón replaced an original
theatre which opened in 1857. It was visited by
the foremost singers and opera companies of
the time. It has got capacity for 2.487 seated
spectators divided in seven levels.
