A simple coat of paint can transform a room from dull and drab to FAB! The 10 year old kitchen was in great condition. All it needed was a simple coat of paint to bring it to life. I used two coats of Benjamin Moore's Northern Cliffs that dries the color of stainless steel, and ties together the black granite counter top, smoked mirrored backsplash, and appliances.. Baseboards and trim are are a semi gloss designer white which makes the gray pop. My favorite part of the kitchen makeover was the wall in the dining area. It's the only completely blank wall in the kitchen, opening to the living room, and adjacent to floor to ceiling glass. I painted it in Metallic Gray that gives it texture like the graphite of a pencil. It looks like suede in daylight, and sparkles in the evening. The Romero Britto art adds a bit of color to the space.
