Ries Kamphof has practical and theoretical experience in EU relations, EU projects and EU political affairs. From June 2013 he works as a Researcher International Relations at NCDO, specifically on scarcity of natural resources, EU, Development Cooperation and the role of the private sector in the post-2015 UN Development framework. From mid-April 2013 Ries also started a Dual PhD class ‘Europe’ at the Campus The Hague/Leiden University. He starts his academic research on the issue of 'shared competences' of the EU and its Member States. How do they divide work in practice?
