What is DevOps?
DevOps is about FLOW. It is focused on the movement of changes, application, middleware, and infrastructure changes, as they progress across the enterprise and up through the development, build, test, and deploy lifecycle. Based on the same concepts and principles of the lean manufacturing movement, DevOps looks to maximize value creation by optimizing the flow of work. In short, it is about how can you most effectively and efficiently get a change into production so that you can start recognizing the value it creates.
