While plastic surgery aims to improve physical and mental health, it does carry risks that require careful guidance from medical professionals. When done properly, plastic surgery has benefitted many lives by allowing people to feel better about their appearance or live more normal lives. However, constantly pursuing perfection through surgery can also normalize aging and pressure people into risky procedures.
