• Human being born in Florianópolis - SC
• I like to work as a teacher or developer
• I know how to brew beer
• I love to surf and nature
• I rater like to ride by bike than by car
• Saw the first source code in 1980’s, 85 I think.
• First programming language was Pascal.
• First professional programming language was Clipper
Summer.
• Fisrt Plone site was my personal website, Plone 2 as far
as I can remember.
• And there was a website....
• Made with Lotus Notes 4
• Before that, it was another domain name, could not take
screenshots.
• Only developers could change pages.
Figure: January 24th, 2001
• In 2002 a new design, Lotus Notes 5.
• Some improvment in content.
• Part of the content come from systems.
• Less intervention by developers, but still some content
needed to be maintained by developers.
Figure: July 26 th, 2002
• Then, there was a migration ....
• Smooth and easy.
• Low use of rich text.
• Easy to export and migrate using csv files.
Figure: Dec 10th, 2004
• Using Free Software LAMP.
• One admin interface and the web site itself.
• Very fast as each url is just one script.
• Tons of repeated code as the scripts were generated using
a proprietary software.
• Every new menu item needed to be developed.
Figure: Feb 09th, 2005
• The website grew in number of scripts.
• Got a new design.
• Agregatated services, like streamming.
• The backend archtecture was almost the same, just more
scripts.
Figure: Jul 15th, 2010
• Another webdesign change in 2013.
• No relevante change in the backend.
Figure: Aug 12th, 2013
• And it is comming to and end ....
• Plone Portal Modelo launched in August, 2020.
• Portal Modelo Customized theme made by the Forcontent
Content Management Solutions.
