Cyclone Heat Exchanger
Cyclones have been one of the oldest and most popular devices
for the removal of dispersed particles from the carrying gas flow
because of the simple design and ability to operate at high loading.
Determining the holdup mass and the time required by the
particle to reach the bottom of the Cyclone Heat Exchanger using
CFD analysis by varying the size, mass flow rate and position of
solid particles.
Holdup mass is inversely proportional to velocity if velocity
increase holdup mass will decrease.
