the world.
 It is a form of violence to create fear in the minds of
people.
 Terrorists use different techniques to create fear like
air strikes human bombs, anthrax (Chemical),
cyber crimes, poisoning water and many other.

4.  Economic Effects of Terrorism:-
 Terrorism creates fears in the minds of people which
disrupts trade, commerce and industry.
 It also effects foreign trade and adversely affects
movement of goods and services between countries.
 It adversely affects the tourism industry.

5. The main causes of Terrorism are
 Poverty.
 Unemployment.
 Injustice.
 Corruption.
 Lack of Education.
Solutions
 1. Poverty Alleviation: Poverty seems to be the major cause
of terrorism. It is poverty which forces people to join
terrorism. Masterminds are using terrorists to
commit heinous crimes and convince them for suicidal
attacks motivating them to going to heaven after killing
innocent people. So reducing poverty can have a huge impact
on reducing the level of terrorism. As many people will not
fall in to the hands of terrorist.

6.  2. Reduce Unemployment: Unemployment is also one of
the main causes that help increase terrorism. When people are
unemployed, they don’t find opportunities to get a job to
support their families and eventually they are made pawns in
the hands of terrorists. Terrorists offer such people a huge
amount of money and guarantee supporting their families.
There is an acute need to create employment opportunities so
that people should not tilt towards negative activities and they
could remain busy in their jobs.
 3. End Injustice: There is much injustice almost everywhere.
Rich are becoming more rich whereas poorer are becoming
poorer. This gap between the rich and poor has caused people
to move towards terrorism as they need shelter, food, cloth, for
their families and terrorist masterminds assure them that they
will. We need to end this injustice in our society so we can stop
terrorism.

7.  4. Corruption: Corruption in our system is increasing day by
day. Corruption has put no stone unturned in supplementing
the hardships of the people. In the third world countries this
situation is worse and you cannot even get your legal work
done without offering bribery.
 5. Lack of Education: Lack of education generally force
young generation to join the hands of anti-social elements.
There is a dire need to create opportunities for people so that
they could educate their children. If people are given
education at free of cost, or even minimizing the costs the
trend of tilting towards extremism and terrorism can be
reduced. The governments should open more and more
schools for children, and education should be
made available for everyone as it is necessary to make world
safe from current and future terrorism

8.  The dictionary meaning of corruption is Bribe.
 It means favour done by men in position to others for
some monetary and other benefits.
 In India Corruption is practised in all walks of life
and involves high profile politicians, beaurocrats,
corporate, NGO’s and
other influential people.
It deprives people of their
basic rights and increases
crimes, thefts, cheating,
and all sorts of tensions
among people.

 Corruption creates economic inequality
 It adversely affects social and political justice.

 It is intentionally done by business community, to create
artificial scarcity.
 This practice deprives rights of consumers and gives
monopoly powers to businessmen.
 Government should inquire
into unfair trade practices
by appointing commission.

which leads to inflation.

consumers, this creates panic in the minds of

activity in which goods are brought and sold illegally.

 Natural resources consists of climate, soil, rainfall, forests,

 Man uses these resources for production and
consumption, almost all resources have been adversely
affected, causing great damage to their quality and

water logging.
 This deterioration is huge and cannot be measured in
terms of money.

degradation in the quality of soil. Due to which the long
term quality of production suffers.
 It has led to global warming and increase in natural
calamities.
 Environmental hazards affects the physical and mental
growth of people. Eg. Bhopal Gas tragedy
 It also affects the tourism industry.
 It has long term and deep impacts on the economy of the
nation.
