o Responsible for the development of a quality control system to ensure preventive
maintenance and repairs were completed to manufacturer’s standards on a mixed fleet of
650 heavy/light vehicles and heavy plant equipment.
o Carry out inspections of accident damaged vehicles and plant, compile cost estimates and
advise senior managers of findings.
o Travel to MFO offices in Cairo and Tel Aviv to inspect new vehicles and equipment prior to
deployment. Inspect vehicles and equipment that had been manufactured or modified
locally.
o Use of multiple manufacturers bespoke computerized diagnostic test equipment to identify
faults and if required advise, shop floor foremen and locally employed mechanics on how to
repair the problems.
o Conducted shop floor on the job training for Ex-Pat foremen, locally employed civilian
supervisors and mechanics.
o Use of SAP (System analyses and Program networking; Systems, Applications & Products
in Data Processing) for updating vehicle data bases, opening work orders and ordering
spare parts.
