The Pedernales Medical Group, in Fredericksburg, Texas, traces its origins to 1992. Fresh from a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Nancy Thompson, MD, opened her private practice, sharing office space in the town’s historic limestone hospital with long established general practitioner Dr. J. Hardin Perry, who has since retired. Dr. Thompson, who earned her MD from the School of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, treats patients of all ages at the Pedernales Medical Group and specializes in internal medicine and pediatrics.
