This document discusses the characteristics of a good shepherd based on passages from the Bible. It describes how a good shepherd leads his sheep through the door (John 10:2), lays down his life for the sheep (John 10:11), is always teaching and maintaining relationship with the flock, leads by example, feeds and cares for the weak and sick within the flock (Ezekiel 34:1-5). The good shepherd also unifies and keeps the flock safe.
