The eternal discussion: cannabis legalization, yes or no? <br />Nowadays a lot of people talk about how good it would be to legalize the cannabis but we also have to think about the disadvantages that this new regularization would take.<br />On the one hand, the legalization of cannabis would be a good thing for those people who use it like a medical therapy so they would not have to buy the marijuana out of the law and they would avoid the danger that involves the illegal market of drugs. In addition, it would increase the government money because if the cannabis sale is regulated they could collect a new tax from these sales and they also would spend less money chasing and arresting people for cannabis possession.<br />On the other hand, we have to be careful with legalization because it would decrease the feeling of danger of this soft drug, maybe it would make people think that is not too harmful to consume it because it is permitted by the government, like it occurs with alcohol and tobacco. Therefore it would increase the number of people who consume marijuana and it would be easier for young people to buy it than now.<br />In my opinion, people who want to take drugs would do it with or without cannabis legalization. <br />To sum up, in general I think that there are more points against than points in agreement for cannabis legalization but it would be great to manage it only for medical use.<br />
