Hello Professor Potter, this letter is in regards to Chapter 2 Test Your Knowledge True or False questions.
I have a discrepancy with two of the questions, number 7 and question number 9.Question number 7
states that a printed Web page has a header and a footer containing the name of the Web page, the
page numbers, the Web page’s URL, and the date printed. (81) According to the text book Discovering
The Internet, Fourth Edition chapter 2 page 81, Printing a Web Page states: By default, the hard copy
printout of a Web page includes a header on each page showing the Web page title and page number. A
Footer on each page shows the URL and the date on which the Web page was printed. My question is
that am I reading the statement wrong or is the word often has me over thinking the question? On
question number 9: states the https:// protocol and a padlock icon signify that your information is being
sent over a secure connection. (94) Discovering The Internet text book chapter 2 page94 states that: The
secure https:// protocol and a locked padlock icon signify that the information is being encrypted and
sent over a secure connection. Am I overthinking this question as well?
