Galatians 4:4–5
But when the fullness of the time
came, God sent forth His Son, born
of a woman, born under the Law,
so that He might redeem those
who were under the Law, that we
might receive the adoption as
sons.

Galatians 4:6–7
Because you are sons, God has
sent forth the Spirit of His Son into
our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"
Therefore you are no longer a
slave, but a son; and if a son, then
an heir through God.

gift of sonship through faith in Jesus
Christ by the power of the Holy
Spirit.

7. The Fullness of Time
God ordained history for the coming of His
Son. He prepared the world:
1) Religiously – By way of the Babylonian
empire, Israel became monotheistic.
2) Culturally – By way of the Greek Empire,
the world had a common language.
3) Politically - By way of the Roman Empire,
there was forced peace and availability to
travel freely.
