This document provides the requirements for an Abnormal Psychology project where students will create an informational presentation on a mental disorder. They must include a cover, definition and symptoms of the disorder, real examples, current best treatments, references, a visual demonstration, and do a 5-10 minute oral presentation. The project will be graded based on these components and in-class preparation, and is due on Wednesday December 5th. Students must sign up to research from a list of provided disorders.

1. Abnormal Psychology Project
You will create a presentation as a technology/pamphlet/booklet/etc.
which includes the following:
1. Cover/creativity/neatness (10)
2. Define disorder + symptoms (10)
3. Real examples/stories (10)
4. Explain the current/best treatment(s) used today (20)
5. Reference-2 minimum (10)
6. Visual-demonstrate disorder (if you use a video, it must have no
cursing or you will get a 0) (10)
7. Oral presentation 5-10 minutes (20)
Separate grade for in class work & preparation (10)
This will count as a test grade.
