1. Nathan Yoncher
To whom it may concern,
I am an army vet pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology and a minor in criminal
justice. I spent four amazing years in the United States Army where I learned to be a warrior and a
leader. Now that I have nearly completed my associates and am moving on to my bachelors I want
nothing more than to continue serving my country and my community.
For me the military was just a stepping stone in the path of a lifelongdream to be part of something
bigger than myself.I understand that a career in public safety is not just a job it’s a way of life, one
of honor and integrity, courage and compassion. I want to do something that matters and makes a
difference.I can think of no better place to reach this goal than with the local law enforcement. I
miss the brotherhood and sense of duty I shared with my fellow soldiers, and I believe I could have
that here. I know this job is not all action or saving puppies,it’s a lot of paperwork, a lot of red tape,
a lot of watch and wait, and sometimes a lot of heartbreak, but I am ready for it. I want a career
that I can stick with for the long run and I am ready to give this my all.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Nathan Yoncher
