1. The first visit of the last year
was Croatia. Teachers and
some students knew the
customs, traditions and history
of Croatia and Split.
In February, teachers and
students came to Fuensalida.
There were different activities
in the center, and cultural
visits. They saw a shoe
factory, they visited Toledo
and Consuegra. They watched
the typical Spanish dances as
sevillanas, jotas and
Sherezade.
In Bulgaria they went to the
city of Bourgas. They saw the
city and knew the typical food,
music and customs of this
place.
Finally, in June, 13 students
and 3 teachers from our school
visited Birmingham, in .U.K.
They visited Shakespeare’s
house, the museum of
Birmingham, the canals….
Last year we did some
activities:
- FLAGS AND POSTERS:
There were several flags
and poster with
information of the nine
countries around the
school.
- CHRISTMAS CARDS: In
our school there was a
Christmas contest. All
children worked hard to
get first place. We sent
them to the other
countries.
- BROCHURES ABOUT
OUR CUSTOMES,
DANCES AND SPRING-
SUMMER RECIPES to
send them to other
countries too.
There was a logo
competition in our school
and in the other nine
countries: Croatia,
Bulgaria, Italy, Poland,
United Kingdom, Turkey,
Greece, Lithuania and
Spain. All the students of
the school tried to make
the best logo. The winner
of our school participated
in another competition
against the winner from
other countries. The
winner logo of the
competition was from
Croatia. It was chosen by
Facebook.
