1. This is the story of how I
became this beautiful birthstone. I
used to be a little grain of sand.
Wind, glaciers, and rivers would
always bully me.
Then one day something
happened. I thought I would get
bullied again but it was just the
start to something brilliant for me.
A geyser shot me up into the
sky then a strong wind carried me
and dropped me right over a
volcano as I fell I was worried. I was
wondering what rock I would turn
into.
Inside the volcano, I went into
the magma chamber. Then, a little
bit of iron got into me. Many years
later I turned into a beautiful
amethyst, other rocks would be very
jealous of me.
One day inside the volcano I
heard BANG, BOOM, and CRASH!!!
Dark, red magma painted the walls.
I shot swiftly into the sky near the
beach shore. Then I waited and
waited for something to happen.
Then finally a girl around the
age of 7 found me and took me to
her house. She took me to her room
and made me into her favorite
necklace. And that is the story on
how I became a beautiful
birthstone.
