Your total score is a scaled score that is based on the questions you answered correctly. The scale ranges from 200
to 800, with the passing standard anchored at 500.

As a Board Certified Pharmacist, you will be required to do the following to maintain your specialty certification.
• Earn the appropriate number of hours of continuing education credit provided by the BPS-approved professional
development program within this specialty OR pass the recertification examination in this specialty at the end of
your seven-year certification cycle.
• Pay an Annual Certification Maintenance Fee each year. BPS will email you an invoice in May.
• Abide by the BPS Statement of Exam Confidentiality contained in the BPS Candidate's Guide.
• Maintain an active pharmacy license in good standing.
