Estas son las modificaciones al reglamento WKF que serán aplicadas durante el torneo
These are the modifications to the WKF rules that will be applied during the tournament
KUMITE
Para dar puntos, será necesario que dos o más jueces señalicen punto al mismo
competidor. Para advertir o penalizar, será necesario que tres o más jueces señalicen advertencia o
penalización al mismo competidor.

ARTÍCULO 3: ORGANIZACIÓN DE LAS COMPETICIONES DE KUMITE
EXPLICACIÓN:
VI.
Los entrenadores deben presentar su acreditación en la mesa oficial, junto con la de su competidor o
las de su equipo. En este momento le será entregada la tarjeta técnica verde que tendrá que
entregar para solicitar tiempo muerto.
El entrenador debe permanecer sentado en su silla y no debe interferir de palabra ni de obra en el
normal desarrollo del encuentro.
Tiempo muerto
Cada entrenador tendrá la posibilidad de solicitar un “tiempo muerto” de 10” para orientar
al deportista sobre su actuación. El entrenador se pondrá en pie y mostrará su tarjeta verde
para solicitar dicha parada. La mesa advertira de dicha situación al árbitro mediante pitidos
cortos consecutivos si éste no se hubiese apercibido. No podrá solicitarse una vez iniciado el
"atoshi baraku".
El árbitro no está obligado a detener el combate inmediatamente, deberá evaluar la situación
y atender la solicitud de “tiempo muerto” sin que suponga ventaja o perjuicio, para ninguno
de los competidores.
ARTICLE 3: ORGANISATION OF KUMITE COMPETITIONS
EXPLANATION:

Coaches must present their accreditation together with that of their competitor or team to the

Timeout
Each coach could to use a 10" timeout to inform the athlete on their performance. The coach

requested after the beginning of the "Atoshi baraku".
The referee is not required to stop the bout immediately, should evaluate the situation and
attend the request of "timeout" without advantage or detriment to any of the competitors.
With the above in mind, the referee will stop the bout and pick up the green technic card of
the applicant coach. Competitors will approach their coaches and the referee will signal to the
timekeeper to start the ten second timeout by a blast on his whistle when the competitor
comes to the applicant coach; waiting between both coaches.
When the timeout is over, the timekeeper will blow his whistle and the referee will request
competitors to get their positions immediately.

immediately and the green technic card revoked for the match. A new fault results in a
permanent revoked or a sanction.
ARTÍCULO 6: PUNTUACIÓN
EXPLICACIÓN:
Para marcar es necesario aplicar una técnica a una zona puntuable según lo definido en el
punto 6 anterior. La técnica debe ser controlada adecuadamente con relación a la zona
atacada y debe satisfacer los 6 criterios del punto 2 anterior.
El karate deportivo también es espectáculo, por ello y para premiar adecuadamente este tipo
de acciones, Ippon podrá otorgarse por técnicas ligeramente deficientes en uno de los
criterios, a excepción de la forma.
ARTICLE 6: SCORING
EXPLANATION:
In order to score, a technique must be applied to a scoring area as defined in paragraph 6 above. The

ARTÍCULO 7: CRITERIOS PARA LA DECISIÓN
El resultado de un encuentro queda definido cuando un contendiente obtiene una ventaja de
ocho puntos, o al transcurrir el tiempo del encuentro cuando tenga el mayor número de
puntos, o por decisión (HANTEI), o cuando el oponente reciba HANSOKU, SHIKKAKU O
KIKEN.
1. En un encuentro individual no puede haber empate. Tan solo en la competición por equipos,
3. cuando un encuentro finaliza con las puntuaciones igualadas, o sin puntuaciones, el Árbitro
anunciará un empate (HIKIWAKE). En encuentros individuales, cuando un encuentro finaliza
con las puntuaciones igualadas, el árbitro otorgará la victoria a aquél competidor que puntuó
en primer lugar (punto de oro).
2. En encuentros individuales, en caso de que al final del tiempo nadie haya puntuado
la decisión se tomará por votación final de los tres jueces a favor de uno u otro competidor. Es
obligatoria una decisión a favor de uno u otro competidor, y ésta se tomará basándose en lo
siguiente:
a) La actitud, el espíritu de combate y la fuerza exhibidos por los contendientes.
b) La superioridad de las técnicas y tácticas desplegadas.
c) Cual de los contendientes ha iniciado la mayoría de las acciones.
ARTICLE 7: CRITERIA FOR DECISION
The result of a bout is determined by a contestant obtaining a clear lead of eight points, or at time-
up, having the highest number of points, obtaining a decision (HANTEI), or by a HANSOKU,
SHIKKAKU, or KIKEN, imposed against a contestant.
1. No individual bout can be declared a tie. Only in team competition, when a bout ends with equal
scores, or no scores, will the Referee announce a tie (HIKIWAKE). In individual bouts, when a
bout ends with equal scores, the referee will declare winner to the competitor who scores first
(gold point).
2. In individual bouts, if after full time there are no scores, the decision will be made by a final
vote of the 3 Judges, each casting their vote. A decision in favour of one or the other competitor is
obligatory and is taken on the basis of the following criteria:
a) The attitude, fighting spirit, and strength demonstrated by the contestants.
b) The superiority of tactics and techniques displayed.
c) Which of the contestants has initiated the majority of the action.
Contacto permitido
Presten atención a las modificaciones referentes al contacto en categoría cadete, junior, juvenil
e infantil.
Cadete y junior
Si el guante roza a nivel jodan, se dará torimassen. Si es más que un roce, se dará una
penalización de la escala de penalizaciones.
Juvenil
Si el puño o la pierna rozan a nivel jodan, se dará torimassen. Si es más que un roce, se dará
una penalización de la escala de penalizaciones. La distancia para puntuar se incrementa a 15
cm.
4. Infantil
No se permite ninguna clase de contacto a nivel jodan, si el puño o la pierna rozan el objetivo,
se dará una penalización de la escala de penalizaciones. La distancia para puntuar se
incrementa a 15 cm.
Contact allowed

Cadet and junior

KATA
En los encuentros para medallas en kata equipos, los competidores podrán usar kata
libre, tradicional o no tradicional con los mismos requisitos que los katas
tradicionales, bunkai incluido en la final: debe ser y parecer un kata de karate.
In the bouts for medals in kata teams, competitors can use free, traditional or
