Starts off with view of street, „Victoria Avenue‟.
Then a panning of street.
View of phone alarm ringing on The Bible, saying „Happy
Birthday‟.
CHARACTER #1 We see Sonia get up, looks in mirror while still
in bed (as mirror is in front of her), puts her glasses on and
gets up to open the door.

2. Script for Neglected
CHARACTER #1 Sonia (Curious): “Mum”
CHARACTER #1 Then see her go downstairs, going into the
kitchen, to stroke her cat.
CHARACTER #1 Then she goes into the fridge to look for milk.
CHARACTER #1 She then find the milk and places it on the
kitchen table to find a note from her mum which reads “Happy
Birthday, sorry I couldn‟t be here. Love Mum”.
CHARACTER #1 Sonia looks at the note with displease and throws
it away with a sigh.
