3. Ranthambore in Rajasthan - One of the largest parks in India is in Rajasthan. At Ranthambore, you can have a great time while
trying to see a tiger! It offers several tours which are really the best way to enjoy the park and its wildlife and the park itself is very
beautiful. You can choose to head off on an elephant safari or one by jeep. Be sure to bring your camera to capture some amazing
shots. There is a variety of watering holes in the park where a lot of animals come down to the water, and many different species of
birds, reptiles and plants too. This is the park in India that has the highest number of Bengali Tigers.
4. Satpura national park in Madhya Pradesh - If you are in and heading to Madhya Pradesh then you should head to the
Hoshangabad district and visit the Satpura tiger reserve. It is a large park but not as popular as some so if you prefer fewer crowds
as you take a break from a busy life and enjoy nature then this is a great choice. Its name comes from the Satpura mountain range
close by. It is a great place to spot various wildlife, tigers as mentioned but also wild dogs, leopards, sloth bear and more. It has a
very diverse ecosystem that includes grassland, ravines, forests, waterways, peaks and jungle! It is a beautiful place to visit
whether you love to walk, want to go canoeing or look for an elusive species of bird or spot your first tiger.
Corbett in Uttarakhand - In the Himalayan foothills, you can find an amazing place to visit in Uttarakhand, Corbett park. The
mysterious and sometimes elusive tiger makes this a home as well as many other distinctive faunal and flora. Especially known for
the wild populations of elephants and leopards too.
5. Periyar in Kerala - If you are in Kerala you can head to Periyar one of the most attractive parks and tiger reserves in the country.
Sometimes called Thekkady it is also famous for its large groups of wild elephants. Take a look at them as they head to the Periyar
river, try to catch a sighting of a lion or tiger and explore the diverse and rich Indian plant and wildlife. The views are quite
magnificent and it is something you will remember for many years after. You might head out on one of several different types of
