1. Greenville
Pediatric Specialty Care
Orthopaedics
Since 1927 the Greenville Shriners Hospital has met the orthopaedic needs of children from South
Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, and Alabama. These needs have always
been met at no charge to the patient or the patient’s family.
For families who come to any of the 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children, one of the greatest gifts they
receive is the hope of fulfilling a future full of promise and opportunity. The services provided at all
Shriners Hospitals have been built on a foundation of emotional support and encouragement, helping
ensure each patient receives not only needed healthcare, but love as well.
About the artist:
Madison Bryan Bedwell has never had an art lesson, but he
has the passion and talent to develop amazing paintings.
Several of the seventeen-year-old’s paintings are now
hanging in the Greenville Shriners Hospital’s West Unit
and outside the Child Life department. Madison, a patient
at SHC-G for more than 15 years, says he loves coming to
the hospital because the staff always make him feel bet-
ter. Madison’s advice for other patients is, “Always try your
best; and keep practicing.”
