Insulin is a hormone thatā€™s produced in your pancreasā€¦ And youā€™ve almost certainly heard of insulin beforeā€¦ Especially in in relation to diabetes. Alright so letā€™s keep things rollingā€¦ By turning our attention to: They found that it ā€œsuppresses high-fat diet-induced obesityā€ā€¦ Which led them to conclude that DIM has the potential to help protect against ongoing weight gain.xxiii When your insulin levels are continuously elevatedā€¦ It can lead to your body storing more and more of the nutrients you eat as fatā€¦ Which is one of the many reasons we want to keep our insulin levels in a normal, healthy range. The good news here is that is absolutely achievableā€¦ And there are a few approaches you can take. One approach is to reduce the amount of carbs, processed foods, and reļ¬ned sugars that you eatā€¦ Since those are three things that can spike your insulin levels.
